It was a great weekend for my kids (but so tiring for mom and dad) we brought Luis and Yani at Fun Ranch, Frontera Verde to join their pre-Halloween activity - Howl-O-Walk. Since it was Sunday, we first went to CCF (Christ Commission Fellowship) to attend worship service and had a quick late lunch at Savory Megamall then headed to Fun Ranch.

We arrived ten minutes earlier and I put on their costumes before we went to the registration booth. Luis had fun collecting treats and dad also accompanied him for a train ride. The following are the sponsors of the said activity:

It's a Howl-O-Weekend in Fun Ranch Ortigas as the young and young at heart gather for our biggest event of the year.

Howl-O-Walk is a Trick or Treat activity for kids and it's going to be an afternoon of colorful costumes and candies for all participants. The event is on Sunday, October 24 from 3 p.m. onwards. Registration starts at 3:00 p.m.

REMINDERS AND MECHANICS:

1. Howl-O-Walk has a total of 350 slots for kids.

2. We will send your ticket via email after registration. Please print this ticket and present to the registration booth to claim your stubs.

3. Costume for kids are not required though we encourage everyone to be in their best costumes.

4. Participants must agree to sign a waiver at registration before they can claim their treat stubs.

5. Pre-registered kids will lose their slots if they arrive after 4:00 p.m. Those who did not pre-register can also join if there are available slots after 4:00 p.m.

6. Pre-registered participants without printed tickets who will come to the event will automatically lose their slot.

7. Parents of children and their legal guardians can register on behalf of their children.

8. A person can register a maximum of three children only.

Halloween is Here.

It has been a tradition to celebrate Halloween every year. An annual event being observed every 31st of October. Just like any other holiday, kids are all excited to wear their costumes and be at their spookiest or spooky-cute looks. You can see different costumes everywhere! You can find wide variety of Halloween accessories in the malls, online stores and even at your local market.

This is our second time to participate in Halloween activities as we have joined a few last year and my son liked it. So, for this year's Halloween we are gracing some Halloween activities for kids and this time I will be bringing Luis and Yani.

Luis wore a Little Frankenstein costume last year but, since Yani will be joining her Kuya I'm thinking of a theme for my kiddos... I might be bringing little spiderman and little wonder woman this time. =D

Preparing for a kiddie party has always been a therapy for me co'z I'm fond of conceptualizing all sorts of party especially kiddie birthday party for my kids. I enjoy gathering ideas and looking around for potential suppliers. But, budget will dictate whether you can afford to have an elegant or a simple celebration. It would be very challenging how you can come up with ideas for an elegant yet affordable party with the rising costs of raw materials, creativity and execution is the key to a successful party.

And since we are preparing for a party in September, I have come up with a plan for a simple but fun party for my kids. The following are our would be suppliers:

Venue would not be a problem for us since our unit is just across the clubhouse. The main function hall is at the second floor of the clubhouse and can accommodate up to 150 guests.

I have been hearing many good feedback from online forums about KK and at last I will have a chance to experience their craft. Every year I try different cake suppliers for my son's birthday cake like Ana Baluyot of icings n' springkles; Yumi Castrillo of yummy piece of cake; and Emily Uy of sugarbox. Since my son wants every detail of pocoyo to be incorporated on his birthday cake, I asked May Santos of KK to make a pocoyo themed cake because they can do whatever design you want. Their design are limitless and you can never go wrong with KK when it comes to themed cakes.

5.) Lechon: Charlie's Pritchon - The Original Pritong Biik

The main star of the buffet! This is our first time to try this unique way of serving lechon in parties and I can't wait for my mouth to touch its crispy skin (yum! yum!). As the name suggest, "pritchon" is a coined word for pritong lechon wrap in pita wedges and served with seven different kinds of sauces.

I was just looking around the internet trying to find for a nice and practical souvenir. My hubby told me he would be glad if I will get a photo booth for the party.
